Burdwan Model School is a unit under the Oriental Association for Education & Research. The society has established three institutes for higher studies in professional courses. The institutes are named; Burdwan Institute of Management and Computer Science (BIMS) established in 2000 conducting full time degree courses in Bachelors of Business Administration, Bachelors of Computer Application, B.Sc. in Bio-Technology (B. Sc. Bio-Tech) and B.Sc in Bio-Chemistry (B.Sc. Bio Chemistry) under the affiliation of The University of Burdwan. Burdwan Institute of Medical and Life Sciences (BIMLS), established in 2001 under the affiliation of the West Bengal University of Health Science now conducts BPT and MPT and Oriental Institute of Science and Technology (OIST) established in 2006 conducts M. Sc. in Bio-Tech and Bio-Chemistry under the affiliation of the Vidyasagar University.
Burdwan Model School, the exclusive conception under OAER, established in 2003, is an English Medium Co-educational School, from Playgroup to Senior Secondary affiliated to the Central Board of Secondary Education (C.B.S.E).
